The Long View.

The whole category sells a start. Almost nobody sells the continuation — what month eight looks like, what it costs by then, what happens if you stop. This direction takes the long horizon as both the argument and the visual system.

The device

You will be quoted a month. Here is the year.

Every brand in this category, Trillium included, advertises the starter month. The starter plan runs three months and then the price changes, and no homepage in the category tells you that before you sign up. Showing it is the single most trust-building thing available to this business, and it costs nothing but nerve.

What the category quotes

$133/MO

True for three months, for patients new to GLP-1 medications. Then it isn’t, and you find out at the checkout for month four. Nobody is lying; everybody is quoting the number that flatters.

What this direction quotes

$158/MO

The same plan averaged across twelve months on the quarterly rate — $399 for the starter, then three quarters at $499. Higher, harder to say, and the only figure a person can actually plan around. The month-by-month version is below.

Tirzepatide · first twelve months · quarterly plan

Months 1–3

Months 4–6

Year one, total $1,896  ·  $158 /MO AVERAGED

On the month-to-month rate instead, year one is $399 + nine months at $249 — $2,640, or $220 a month averaged. Both numbers are arithmetic on the plan prices as specified, not estimates.

01 · Why this one

The retention problem, answered on the homepage instead of in a win-back email.

GLP-1 care is not a three-month transaction and everyone in the business knows it. The gap between what the category advertises and what the second year actually looks like is where cancellations come from — a person who budgeted $133 and met $249 in month four did not change their mind about treatment, they were surprised by an invoice.

Setting expectations honestly at the top of the funnel is a retention intervention that happens before anyone becomes a patient. It will cost some signups. It should cost fewer cancellations, and the ones it costs were the least likely to stay.

It also sets up Longevity, which is the one category on the roadmap where a long horizon isn’t a positioning choice but the entire product.

🚩 The line this direction must not cross

Talking about the long term makes it very easy to drift into implied outcome claims — what results look like at month twelve, what maintenance achieves. Every long-horizon statement here is about the arrangement, never the result: what it costs, when the price steps, that dose changes are the provider’s decision, that stopping is a clinical question for Wasef Health. A timeline that starts describing bodies over time is a different and much more dangerous page.

02 · Palette

A ground that recedes as you read.

The slate listed this direction on a warm grey ground. Warm cream and grey is the most occupied ground in the survey — 14 of 35 brands, and camel sits next door to terracotta and gold, both at 5. Left as specified, this was the least differentiated direction of the seven.

The correction takes the one empty lane it already had — desaturated slate — and does something no other direction here does with it. The ground is not a fixed value. It ramps from a near-white at the top of the page to a deep slate at the bottom, continuously, tied to scroll position. That is atmospheric perspective: the near term is bright and obvious, the long term recedes, cooler and less contrasty, the way distance actually behaves.

Ink stays fixed at #161D22 throughout, so the darkest the ground ever gets still clears AAA. And camel — the one warm thing in the system — lives only inside the horizon band, which keeps its own fixed dark ground. Everything on this page changes as you move through it except the horizon. That is the whole idea, stated in colour.

#C09A6BCamel. Time markers only — the stops on the horizon. Never on the ramp.
#354148Muted. Secondary text, dark enough to hold 4.60:1 at the far end of the ramp.
#2F3D46Slate. Labels, links and rules. Darkened until it held 4.90:1 against the far end of the ramp.

The trap a ramping ground sets

If both the ground and the type ramp, they cross somewhere in the middle and the page becomes unreadable at exactly one scroll position — a bug that would never show up in a screenshot of the top or the bottom. Only the ground moves here. Every text colour is fixed and was checked against the far end, which is the worst case, rather than against the value at the top of the page — the label colour failed that check on the first pass at 3.79:1 and was darkened until it cleared.

03 · Typography

Light weights, long measures, no urgency.

Libre Franklin at 300 carries the display sizes. A light weight at large size is the opposite of the category’s heavy geometric shout, and it is the correct register for a page whose argument is patience — a headline that isn’t raising its voice. Source Serif 4 takes reading copy with real optical sizing.

The one place weight goes up is the horizon: the stop amounts are set at 600 because they are the numbers a person came for, and light type would be false modesty about the most useful figures on the page.

04 · Photography

Distance, and the four-hundredth time.

A fourth light register, and the one that ties directly to the palette: atmospheric depth. Layers receding into haze, each one cooler and softer than the last. Where the other sets photograph a moment, this one photographs duration — a route walked many times, an unremarkable Tuesday, a room lived in for decades.

The ramp, photographedA figure small on a familiar path, with the landscape receding in four legible layers. This frame is the palette — near dark and sharp, far pale and cool. It could carry the identity alone.

A walk taken oftenTwo people mid-conversation, neither looking at the other, the street receding behind them. Companionable rather than joyful, which is what month eight actually feels like.

Decades in one roomLevel gaze, settled hands, a room that has clearly been his a long time. The oldest subject in the whole slate, and the right one for this direction.

Accumulated marksA planner with many weeks ticked off. Not one achievement — the pile of ordinary repetitions that a long course actually consists of.

Unremarkable TuesdayFilling a water bottle before work, mid-routine, no expression to speak of. Deliberately the least interesting photograph in the slate.

The long view, literallyFence, then rooftops, then trees, then haze. Nobody in it. This is the frame to use when the page needs to breathe rather than say something.

Lean into

  • Visible atmospheric layers — near, middle, far, haze — in every outdoor frame.
  • Longer lenses. 85mm compresses the layers and is what makes distance readable.
  • Duration as the subject: worn rugs, repotted plants, ticked planners, familiar routes.
  • Older subjects. The only direction where sixties and seventies is the centre of the casting, not the edge.
  • Deliberately unremarkable moments. The fourth-hundredth time, not the first.
  • Weather and overcast. Soft even light, no drama, no golden hour.

Avoid

  • Before-and-after in any form, including implied ones — a looser waistband, a smaller size.
  • Milestones and celebrations. This direction is about continuing, not arriving.
  • Sunsets, mountaintops, arms raised. The horizon is a device here, not a metaphor for triumph.
  • Anything clinical, and any pharmacy interior.
  • Bodies as evidence. No waist crops, no isolated abdomens, arms or chins.
  • Dark, moody interiors. Cool and distant is the palette; gloomy is the failure.
  • Legible dates or figures on a planner or calendar. A readable date invents a claim.
📌 Decision needed — how old is the brand willing to look?

This set centres people in their fifties, sixties and seventies, which is a genuine positioning choice rather than a casting detail. It reads as considered and unhurried, and it will read as older than the category, which currently photographs almost exclusively thirty-somethings. That may be an advantage in an underserved segment or a problem for the core persona mix — worth deciding deliberately rather than discovering in the first round of ads.

What happens after month three

The questions people ask when they cancel, answered before they start. None of these are things we decide — but all of them are things we can tell you plainly.

What if my dose changes?

Dose is a clinical decision made by your provider at Wasef Health, not a plan tier and not something Trillium sets. Your plan price doesn’t change with your dose.

Can I pause?

Yes, at any point, with no fee and no membership to cancel. Plans restart where you left off rather than back at the beginning.

What happens if I stop?

That’s a clinical question and it belongs to your provider — ask them before you decide, because the answer depends on your situation. We won’t give you a medical answer here and you should be wary of any platform that does.

Will the price go up again?

Beyond the starter step shown above, we’ll tell you before it does. Published prices are the prices; changes are announced, not discovered at checkout.

Is the starter price available again later?

No. It applies once, to patients new to GLP-1 medications. Anyone offering it to you twice is quoting you something they can’t honour.

06 · Consequences

What choosing this commits you to

AreaConsequence
ConversionThis will cost signups, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest. A homepage leading with $158 rather than $133 loses the comparison against every competitor still quoting a starter month. The bet is that it loses the visitors who were going to cancel in month four anyway — a bet worth making only if you can measure retention well enough to see whether it paid.
Price accuracyPublishing a twelve-month total makes every plan change a homepage change. It also makes the starter step permanently visible, which removes the option of quietly restructuring it later.
CompetitiveThe most easily copied argument in the slate — any competitor can publish their own year-one number next week. The advantage is being first and being right, not being alone.
RegulatoryLower risk than 04, with one sharp edge: long-horizon language slides into implied outcome claims very easily. Every statement must stay on the arrangement rather than the result, and that discipline has to hold through every future copy edit, not just this one.
CoralRetired, and the warmth with it. Camel is the only warm value and it appears only on the horizon band. Existing ad and social templates do not survive.
ToneThe most restrained direction of the seven. Light weights, long measures, no urgency — which is correct for the argument and wrong for a performance ad. Paid creative would need its own louder treatment, and reconciling the two is real work.
CastingCentres people considerably older than the category photographs. A deliberate position, not a detail — see the flag above.
EngineeringThe ramping ground is a scroll listener setting one custom property, and degrades to a fixed near-white if color-mix is unavailable. Cheap. The year-one figures are the part that needs wiring to real data.
AccessibilityInk holds 7.47:1 at the far end of the ramp, muted 4.60:1, camel 5.90:1 on its fixed band. Only the ground moves; every text colour is fixed and was checked against the worst case rather than the top of the page.
🚩 Compliance flag — the arithmetic has to be verified before it is public

The year-one figures are computed as $399 starter, then $499 quarterly or $249 monthly, giving $1,896 / $158 per month averaged, or $2,640 / $220 monthly. The arithmetic is straightforward; the inputs are not settled. $499 is a proposed quarterly rate and does not match the master document, which specifies $599, and the $133/mo starter figure is still not published anywhere. Note also what the change does to the two paths: quarterly now averages $158 against $220 month-to-month, a 39% premium for paying monthly where it used to be 20%. That gap is a pricing decision in its own right, not a rounding consequence. On this direction an unverified number is worse than on any other — the entire proposition is that Trillium quotes honestly over a longer horizon than anyone else, and a wrong total would invert that in one screenshot.

What it does with the frozen figures

Nothing here uses the recommend-rate number, the dispute count, the internal competitor comparison, or the service-posture line pending sign-off. Every figure is either published on the live site or arithmetic on the master pricing document, flagged above.

📌 Where this sits in the slate

Four directions now argue some form of transparency and they are genuinely different bets. 02 shows one number before signup — conversion. 05 shows one transaction itemised with who performs each line — legitimacy. 06 shows the whole set, comparable — search and research. 07 shows one number extended over time — retention. If the business problem is people not starting, build 02. If it is people not believing you, build 05. If it is people not finding you, build 06. If it is people leaving in month four, build this one.
